Limited-Edition Cherry Blossom Sessions!

Here is an opportunity to take beautiful Cherry Blossom Portraits right in Central Edmonton! Last year we only had the blossoms for less than a week before the wind took them.

I’m currently scheduling only a limited number of Blossom Sessions to make sure we can catch them at their best, and to provide the best timing to catch good light.

The location will be the George F Hustler Memorial Park, with address of 9815 - 95 St.

How will the sessions work?

Due to the importance of timing and the short window the blossoms are typically available for, we will have to work together on this! I’m officially on “blossom watch” to keep an eye on the weather along with how the blooms are coming in.

I’m currently looking at the following dates to book sessions:

• Wednesday May 22

• Sunday May 26

Sessions will last for 45 minutes, and will typically be booked for early morning, or late afternoon/evening to catch the best light. This is plenty of time to catch a bunch of great photos for you to choose from! I will have scouted the area with a critical eye, as things change daily, so we will go directly to the best places available at the time.

The best part of this is I will help you with everything! Before the session we can discuss clothing options or any special requests, and answer any specific questions you might have. During the session I will take care of where to go, helping with posing, and making it a fun and easy experience overall!

What happens after the session?

After the session there will be a selection of typically 20-30 photos from which you can choose your favourites! These photos can be delivered to you as prints, wall art, albums, or digital files. I can either provide an online gallery that you can peruse on your own and mark your favourites, or else I can review the photos with you to take the effort out of choosing your favourites (I know it can be difficult!).

How much will it cost?

To keep things simple, I am charging a session fee of $150 that will be paid in advance to hold your booking, and then the entire session fee can be applied towards the purchase of any print or digital product! A price list is provided below, though additional options are also available - just ask!
